The Ålands Fotbollförbund is one of the 12 district organisations of Football Association of Finland. It administrates the local level football (soccer) in the Åland Islands.

Background

Ålands Fotbollförbund (abbreviated ÅFF) was founded in 1943 and was originally called the Åland Boll District. The Association currently has 11 member associations, which together have about 60 teams covering various ages groups. The number of registered players is currently approaching the 1000 mark.

Reflecting the small population of the Åland Islands (27,700 inhabitants) the Åland Football League is run as a 7-a-side competition. The 30 teams competing in the 2010 competition are as follows:
